Working as an international student in Czechia

The short version, for students from outside the country. Your own residence permit decides what applies to you.

In short

Students in an accredited degree programme in Czechia can usually work without a work permit.
Other students, such as those in a language course, usually need one.
Check your own residence permit with the Ministry of the Interior.

EU, EEA and Swiss citizens can usually work in Czechia without a work permit or an hour limit.
